What is the Sisterhood?

So now that you are here you might be wondering exactly what does the Redeemed Sisterhood mean and why did we create it? It’s a name near and dear to our hearts because it points us to Jesus every single time.

Redeemed means “to recover ownership of by paying a specified sum.” Friends, our sweet Jesus payed the ultimate sum when He bought us back from sin. God had a specific sum in mind when He knew He needed to buy His people back from sin. The price = Jesus. The best part of the redemption story is Jesus and His pursuit of us on a daily basis. He wants to be in communion with us, He wants us to learn more about Him and spend time savoring His teachings.

Now that you have the foundation of redemption, this leads to the question – why the Sisterhood?

Sisterhood is when something hilarious happens and you pick up your phone to text your sweet friend because you know she will laugh too! Or, you hear a heartbreaking story you grab your phone to connect with your dear friend so you can share the sorrow and pray together. Or, maybe this doesn’t happen because you’ve moved or lost touch with your dear friends. Whatever your circumstance, you're missing that connection with other Christ centered women. You may have realized you do have friends you socialize with and text with but there’s something missing…GOD is not in the midst of the conversation so it lays a little flat.

Well friend, we’ve got you! We are a community of women ready to share scripture with you, pray with you, and equip you with His precepts so that you are prepared for spiritual battle.

We live in a world that tells us to go at it alone. To climb the ladder and achieve the goal at all costs. At The Redeemed Sisterhood, we believe that true success (no matter if that’s running a home or running a company) is found in community with our other women. Arm-in-arm, in lock-step with each other, is where we find our balance and some days our support. God created each woman with a divine purpose in this world, and most times we carry out our purpose together in community, in sisterhood.

We live in a world where sin is on a rampage, families are being torn apart and the foundation of the bible is being challenged. We must ban together, lift each other up and make war against evil. We have been given the power to do this through Christ. Let’s do it together as a sisterhood making war on sin. 💖

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

We pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy. Colossians 1:11 (NLT)
