Matthew 18: 19-20
We were not meant to go through life alone but rather in community. In Matthew 18 there is a beautiful promise of what is given to us when we come together in prayer… we have access to the presence of Jesus. We get to experience moments with Him when we share our hearts, our burdens and our joys. He is intimately in our midst as we pray with others.
Prayer is such an important part of our life that we need to be doing it throughout the day. In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 it says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” How does someone pray without ceasing? We have some wisdom on that. Check out our free PDF on Praying Through Your Day.
In Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. When we meet Jesus in prayer – in all things – we have access to the rest our souls crave.
