Equip

There is a war happening all around us – a battle for our souls. There is God and there is an opposing evil. This evil showed up in Genesis as the serpent in the Garden of Eden, he showed up in the wilderness to temp Jesus, and in the book of Revelation as the Great Red Dragon. This evil rebelled against God, and God allowed temporary power over the fallen world and a host of demons. Hence, the evil that has been slithering the Earth pulling people from God and their divine calling they have on their life. Nothing makes Satan more happy than families being torn apart, marriages falling apart, people choosing darkness over light, and confusion. It is said that satan is the master of confusion and chaos.

The most wonderful news is that God sent Jesus to Earth to overcome evil and He conquered it by dying on the cross for us. We have the Almighty God on our side to help us on the daily basis. In the Ephesians 6:10-18, He gives us instructions on how to stand against the devil’s schemes. V.12 speaks specifically on the war. It is not against us in the flesh, but against spiritual forces in heavenly realms.
