For the Working Moms

This one is for the working moms. The career women. The ones showing up at their job while making a home for their family. This is for the ones holding their children's hands while they hold meetings. The ladies answering to task lists while answering to Mommy. You are seen, you are heard and you are not alone. GOD is with you! Just like he was with Deborah in the book of Judges.

Deborah shows up in Judges 4 & 5 as a married woman that is both a judge and a prophet. As a judge, she was a military leader that rescued Israel from foreign armies. As a prophet, she held court and judged between the people as Moses had done. Plus, as a wife we are sure she had many responsibilities at home. Wonder if her husband or kids ever came through the door asking, what's for dinner?!

The Israelites were not following God when Deborah became the judge over Israel, but she led them back to Him and brought peace to the land for 40 years. In Judges, God raises Deborah up for some very important roles. He gives her directives to follow, she follows them, has much success and then, she praises God!

🌟 She's raised up for a purpose. >> You have been raised up too!
🌟 She follows the Lord's directives. >> If you're not sure what your directives are, keep reading we will tell you how!
🌟 She bears fruit in her faithfulness. >> You will too!
🌟 She praises God. >> Give Him all the Praise!

Deborah was strong and brave and trusted God completely. That mamas is you as well. You have several roles, you lead in your workplace, you set the pace in your home, you are strong and brave and you trust God completely!

Mama’s, when you're not feeling strong and brave, get back to the basics and find ways to:
❤️ Make your burdens light.
❤️ Take good care of you.
❤️ Get scripture into your day so that you lean on Him and not on yourself.
❤️ Say no, so you can say yes to what God's telling you to do. How do you know where He's directing you? Take pause and bring that question to Him and the Holy Spirit will prompt you and guide you with next steps. It can be an amazing work idea or how to support your kid that's having a rough day. No matter your many roles in life, He's got you, in all that you do!
